A Practical Guide to Getting Anything You Want

a calm mind, a hot partner, the life of your dreams... it's all possible.

Alchemists!! … it’s Sunday. Sunday Reset magic time 🪄

One of the coolest powers all humans possess is the ability to create anything from nothing.

Whatever you can see in your mind’s eye… is something you can create.

If we consciously use this power, we can create really awesome lives and become people that we love being.

If we unconsciously use this power, we become products of our environments and start to believe any insecurity, doubt, fear, or limitation that pops up in our minds.

This is a practical guide on how you can use this lovely power of yours to your advantage.

One of my favorite examples of something amazing happening from pure and utter delusion:

I was a C-average student in high school, coming from a low-income family where no one finished college. After my dad passed away, my family and I were going through serious financial and emotional distress. I would literally just not show up to class or do homework.

At the start of my senior year, for SOME REASON, I decided to apply to a handful of the best colleges in the country, with acceptance rates from 4% (yes, Stanford) to 40%, simply because I thought I could do it. I had this wildly delusional blind faith. A counselor at my high school even implied that it was basically impossible to get into anywhere I applied to.

I was competing globally with high-income students who had been prepping for this very moment since they were born. I was competing with all the old-money folks, all the legacies, all the prodigies. I had started caring about college applications… two months earlier.

Not only did I want to attend a top college (without any money to pay for it), I also wanted to study neuroscience, having flunked out of biology and math… twice. I remember my friend said once, “Girl… you do not have the math and science skills to study neuroscience.”

….THE ODDS DID NOT LOOK GOOD.

But. Guess what.

That following April, I received a letter from a top 10 college in the US. I won’t say the name for privacy reasons, but the acceptance rate was under 20%.

Not only was this an acceptance letter, but it was to offer me a full-ride scholarship. Meaning I did not need to pay a cent for tuition.

Now would you look at that…

and … I’m soon about to graduate… with hours of research under my belt, a neuroscience degree, and an A average.

It’s funny how we wait for miracles to happen or think something external can save us, when YOU are the miracle you are looking for.

This is not something to take lightly. I REPEAT This is VERY. REAL. STUFF.

Your brain loves dopamine; it loves creating your entire world through the lens of your goals and your perspective.

Now, here are the practical tips to create a bullet-proof brain that can’t help but do anything but attract delusional miracles:

1. Complaining is out of the picture.

The power of the tongue is real. What you talk about, you will create more of.

There are two different kinds of complaining:

  1. Productive complaining (to change a broken system, talking with a friend to process a situation, journaling out limiting beliefs, etc.)

  2. Unproductive complaining (gossip, bitching about the weather or other things you literally can’t control, anything that makes you focus on things you don’t like or makes you feel powerless)

Whenever you talk about something repeatedly, envision your words as little spells creating more of that thing in your life. Your focus and spoken word are very powerful.

2. Make a daily habit of noticing your abundance.

Another reason why complaining is so destructive is that it takes time out of your precious day to focus on the negative, when we are here to hardwire our minds to focus on the positive.

Again… say it with me… what you focus on is what you create more of.

We all have abundance. Even if you might not feel it, you can create it. You have the eyes, knowledge, health, and technology to read these words. You have the time to sit here comfortably. Abundance is everywhere.

I have a daily gratitude list and prayer habit that I do every evening. I recommend!

3. DO NOT take action out of fear.

But… the thing you should trust in more than those things is your heart and your vision. Meaning… decisions can not be made out of fear. This is likely the most important step.

YOU DON’T NEED ANY EXTERNAL EVIDENCE TO KNOW THAT YOUR WILDEST DREAMS ARE POSSIBLE. BY THEIR EXISTENCE IN YOUR MIND’S EYE… THEY ARE POSSIBLE. I MEAN IT.

So, you have all the evidence you need. The doubt and the fear are NORMAL parts of this process (due to the many years of societal conditioning that we ALL have), but you are SUPPOSED to go against those emotions.

Be teachable, learn a ton, be kind to others, but never make a decision from a place of being unsure of who you are.

4. Surround yourself with reminders of where you want to go.

Your environment and the content you consume shape your identity, and your identity shapes the life you attract. This is why many people see success with vision boards— it’s because they consciously chose the identity they wanted to create, and remind themselves of it every single day.

When I was a delusional high school senior applying to top colleges, I was watching Ivy League day-in-the-life videos every single day. That vibration of joy and excitement poured into my essays, which were probably my one saving grace in my application.

Constantly remind yourself and consume content on where you want to go. Constantly look at, watch, and listen to things that make you feel light, joyful, inspired, and free.
