The ultimate guide to reinventing yourself đ
the art of the quantum leap
Dear alchemist,
I talk about âquantum leapsâ a lot. Thatâs because Iâve seen them happen SO often with my clients, friends, partner, and myself, and they excite the hell out of me.
This is why they should excite you, too, if they donât already: the idea of a âquantum leapâ is essentially total and complete alignment between the current version of you and the version of you that you dream of being. Itâs the rapid, beautiful, synchronistic close of the gap between you and your desire. Emphasis on rapid. Thatâs why itâs called a âleapâ ⊠because it can work quickly.
However, a lot of people (myself included, Iâve been there) tend to overcomplicate. They tend to overthink their way out of alignment, choosing to believe anxiety and fear over the visions their heart and soul are telling them is the right way.
Thatâs why today, I wanted to break it down for you. Clear-cut and simple.
đ„ PresentingâŠstraight to your screen, wherever you are in the world: the step-by-step formula of the quantum leap. đ„ I hope you enjoy.

1. Feel the feelings you may be avoiding.
Although nothing in this list needs to happen in a particular order, this point goes for all stages of the process and may be one of the most important.
It is SO important because feeling your feelings builds self-trust, and you canât make massive, rapid change without self-trust.
Your nervous system will reject your dream life if it does not feel safe receiving it. If your nervous system and subconscious mind do not feel in alignment with the version of you who has everything you want, it may employ one or more of the following self-sabotaging behaviors:
Numbing: over-eating, rumination, over-consuming content, avoidance, substances, partying, drama, etc.
Procrastination: Overthinking, stacking up one too many âIâll do it tomorrowâs, thinking you need to be âperfectâ or waiting for the right moment to start
Rejection: pretending like you donât want or need what you desire, criticizing others who have your desire, putting others down, subconscious projection, etc.
Comparison: comparing your day 10 to someone elseâs day 1000, forgetting to trust in your own timeline (!!!)
Observe when and where these behaviors may show up for you.
More specifically, what triggers them?
The KEY with this step is to approach yourself with curiosity and compassion. Observe whenever you start to feed thoughts of shame, self-criticism, or feeling like you shouldnât be feeling exactly the way you do.
You can never shame or criticize yourself into change. In fact, completely REJECT the idea that you need to force a behavior away or use MORE restriction to stop this behavior. It never works because your self-sabotaging behaviors are fulfilling a need. It is your body's way of seeking safety in predictability.
SO! Instead, ask yourself: what need does this behavior fulfill? How can I introduce safety and stability to my nervous system in a way that makes me feel good, before AND after I do it? Day 12 of the 21-Day Alignment Challenge teaches you how to rewire self-sabotaging behaviors into self-EXPANSION behaviors, and that day was definitely a favorite among students.
2. Create space between you and your limiting beliefs.
If you can recognize and agree that your mind and life are just a set of programs (whether from childhood, your first heartbreak, your fears), you can also agree that you may have many thoughts, beliefs, and assumptions that are not even yours.
Use the gentle curiosity asked of you in step 1 here.
đ Limiting Belief Audit!!
Write out any limiting beliefs that stand in the way between the current you and where you want to be. For example: âI canâtâŠâ, âIt will take too long,â âIâm not that kind of person.â
Remember not to force or self-criticize. If you notice anything tension-inducing start to arise, just observe it. Create space between you and the thought. Label it as just an old program running.
Take a deep breath and remind yourself that your brain is plastic and adaptable. Any new potential that you want to create is possible. Next, write out what your highest self believes instead of the limiting beliefs you have written down. The version of you with the confidence, the stability, the joy⊠what would they tell you about this thought? We have a whole day on this in the 21-day challenge, too.
Put these new beliefs up in a place where you can see them regularly.
If doubt, fear, or old thinking starts to creep back in, donât take it personally. Itâs part of the journey. Youâre human, and all is well.
3. Have ZERO gaps between your ideas and action.
In 1 year, I went from an anxious neuroscience and psychology student in the freezing winters of Minnesota to a confident, joyful business owner doing what I love under the sun of Los Angeles, California.
I can confidently say I am living the life of my dreams. Even though there is always more to do and strive for, I feel so whole and fulfilled every day, even on the âbadâ days.
I had no idea so much magic and purpose was possible, and it became open to me when I stopped negotiating with fear.
There are things you know you want to do. Relax more, meditate daily, put yourself out there, go to the gym, sit in the sun, stand up for yourself⊠the list goes on.
Notice the hesitation that happens right after you get a desire to do something that you know will bring you closer to your highest self. All of the âyeah butâsâŠâ are just your body trying to keep you stuck in an old identity.
Here is the formula: ignoring your current circumstances + delusional action.
It will take you so far. At the start of this year, I was posting 3 times a day to my 500 followers, and 6 months later have 57k. Trust the vision you see more than fleeting thoughts of fear.
4. Work from the end state.
As one of my favorite spiritual teachers, Abraham Hicks says, âFeeling good is the work.â Everything you are seeking outside of you is for an internal feeling state.
This may seem counterintuitive for a culture that rewards restriction, comparison, and proving yourself. Joy and relaxation may feel so foreign to a nervous system that has spent so long in scarcity.
I knew my dream job of being self-employed, my lifeâs work, existed long before I ever signed my first client or made my first sale. That joy and excitement are what rooted me in my authenticity to attract it.
You must feel the love before the dream partner comes in. You must feel the security and abundance of opportunity available before the dollar amount in your bank account. If you are waiting for an external result BEFORE the feeling state you are searching for, then itâs time to remind yourself of your power.
This isnât saying you need to think good thoughts and feel great all the time. As step 1 says, we are human, and the contrast we experience is part of the journey. Feel the feelings, observe what does not belong to you, and remember the power you sit on in every single moment to do things differently.
