the 3 behaviors of someone who effortlessly changes their reality

it's time to get unstuck 🥳

There are many new folks here, so I’d like to give a proper hello! 💖

This weekly letter is for people on the beautiful journey of releasing old thought patterns and limiting beliefs, rewriting what they know to be possible, and creating a life that is in alignment with their higher self… which I believe is simply who you are at your core, underneath fear, conditioning, and everything you were taught you “should” be.

So, on this side of the internet, it’s much less about DOING more, and much more about BEING more. It’s remembering that when you have the desire for something, you also can become the person who experiences it, and that shift can happen quickly.

💌 So! If you vibe with that and are excited to create a life that is authentically YOU, hit Reply and let me know what you’re currently working on. I read every response and love hearing from you :)

And you don’t have to do this work alone! If you want to sign up for my community that receives weekly challenges, click here to join the Expansion Circle. We’re currently on week 2, all about identity and shifting thought patterns!

Now…🥁 let’s get into today’s letter, shall we?

Behavior #1: They intentionally create new belief systems, and audit the limiting ones.

Here’s the truth that we believe in this alchemy club: if you have the desire, you also have the capability.

HOWEVER! Societal conditioning, fears, and identification with your thoughts can leave you feeling otherwise.

There may be a conditioned pattern in place where you immediately want to know the “how” or the “when” something will happen, or you feel like you don’t deserve something, or reinforce that you are not the person you want to be, because of… xyz.

This is why we need to choose what belief systems we want to feed intentionally. Everyone has their own little bag of insecurities and limiting beliefs, but the only reason why yours feel real is because you’ve been living in them. It’s just a pattern that you have practiced. Whatever you practice, you’ll get better at. The same goes for living in alignment with your highest self: it’s a practice.

If you want to learn more about how to create new belief systems, watch part 2 of my most recent long-form or join the Expansion Circle.

Behavior #2: They use neuroplasticity to their advantage, all day, every day.

Neuroplasticity (learn more about how you can use it here) is the concept that your brain is constantly changing its structure and creating new neural pathways.

Nothing is as fixed as you think it is. Change is the only constant!! And as stated in behavior #1, the only reason why something feels real is because it’s been practiced. Not because it actually is!

How can you use neuroplasticity? Lemme give you the basics:

  • 🌞 Use the golden window: your 60 to 90 minutes after waking up is a juicy, delicious time of brain plasticity. Your subconscious mind is wide open. We don’t have to be perfect all the time with this (again, becoming your highest self is a practice), but infuse your early morning with some intention. Personally, I wake up early to take it slow with some journaling, movement, sunlight, AND reminding myself of who I am and where I want to go.

  • 📝 Use repetition: one of the most important things I learned when studying neuroscience is that learning is just reps. We are what we repeatedly do. Put visual reminders around your space of who you want to become!

  • 🪷 Sit with your thoughts: experienced meditators show a thicker prefrontal cortex than typical, which is the brain region involved in personality, self-control, and decision-making. There is no “wrong way” to meditate. It’s just the practice of observing that you are not your thoughts, over and over again. It’s the space where you can tap into your creative mode and end psychological suffering.

Behavior #3: They are very conscious of where they take action from.

In other words, do you take action from a place of fear, urgency, and scarcity?

Whatever emotion you act from is the one you will reinforce. Learning to take action from a place of wholeness and stillness (which is a huge part of internal validation) is one of the most valuable skills you can learn, because it allows you to step off of the hamster wheel.

Our ego (i.e., the compulsive thinking in the mind) is in a constant state of reacting, seeking pleasure or validation, and avoiding discomfort. By learning to find inner stillness and acting from that stillness, knowing that the universe is in full support of you, quiets your automatic thinking and reacting.

Trust and surrender are a necessity in this process. This doesn’t mean not taking action; my students and I take action towards the things we want every single day. It means taking ALIGNED action: not feeding thoughts of worry or fear, surrendering to this present moment, knowing that you are in co-creation of your reality, and that everything is more than okay. Breathe in that energy for a moment.

Can you sense that vast, beautiful stillness in between your thoughts? Can you sense that all you admire outside of you is just a reflection of what is within you?

I’m so happy you’re here.
