How to Know If Your Thoughts Are Lying to You
The Art of Listening to Your Body
Happy Sunday🌞
PS… I made an exclusive vid at the end of this letter just for the newsletter tribe ♡
Some thoughts feel so real.
Even if they feel anxiety-inducing or fill you with dread, they may feel like reality.
Sometimes, affirmations and positive thinking might feel like lies.
How do you know what’s real?
Truth will never have the energy of anxiety.
God & your spirit team will never send you the energy of confusion, depression, or distress.
Yes, those feelings must arise for everyone. But they’re signals, not truth.
Even though “low” moments don’t feel great at first, you can train your brain to look forward to them by learning to squeeze out every drop of wisdom they offer.
You do this by fully leaning in.
Let the thoughts and emotions speak. Talk to them. Give them space. Ask them:
What do you believe about me right now?
Where did you come from?
Whose voice are you?
Who taught me this?
Usually, the belief underneath your suffering was implanted long ago, often in childhood. And it’s not yours. And it’s not true.
How do I know?
Truth will always feel like expansion.
It will feel like an exhale. It will feel like coming home. It is your true essence of deep love, joy, of the inner knowing that everything will be okay.
Thoughts that are not actually true will feel like the opposite.
They will feel like your body is constricting. You will feel your throat and airways tightening, and your chest might feel on fire. Your stomach may drop.
This is fear.
But welcome it when it arises.
It might be an old program or belief that is coming to the surface to help you remove it.
Truth will always feel freeing.
Move toward what helps your body relax. This is your Truth.
With light and love,
Emma
